Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This policy explains how Clearance Vault, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal information in connection with clearancevault.com (the “Website”).
There are no customer accounts. Payment is taken on a page hosted by our payment processor, not on this Website — we never receive or store your card number. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and the Website sets no cookies.
Information we collect
When you browse
Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes standard request data on our behalf — including your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver pages, to keep the Website secure, and to block abuse. We do not store this data in our own systems, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
When you buy something
Selecting “Buy now” asks for the ZIP code we would be shipping to, because we only ship to the contiguous 48 states. We use it for that check and to fill in the payment page for you; we do not keep it as a separate record, and if you close the form without paying it goes no further.
Confirming that holds the item for you for a short time so that nobody else can buy it while you pay. To keep that hold from being abused, we record the IP address the request came from alongside it, and delete it with the hold. Your browser also keeps a note of the checkout you started, so that returning to the item offers to finish it. That note stays on your device, is not a cookie, is never sent to us, and is discarded when you close the tab.
You then pay on a page hosted by our payment processor. They collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details, and they handle the card data — we never see it. They pass back to us the information we need to fill the order: your name, email address, shipping address, what you bought, and the amount paid. We keep that as our record of the sale.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to send — your name, contact details, and the content of your message — and we use it to answer you.
How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Website
- To take payment, ship your order, and handle returns or refunds
- To respond to your questions about products, availability, or an order
- To keep the accounting and sales-tax records the law requires of us
- To comply with legal obligations
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that operate the Website, our payments, and our email on our behalf — currently Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and security), Supabase (database), Square (payment processing and sales-tax records), and Google Workspace (email) — and where required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or others. We also give a shipping carrier the address needed to deliver your order. If Clearance Vault, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer to the successor, subject to this policy.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, and then delete it. Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Request logs held by our providers age out on their own schedules.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. California residents may also request that we disclose what we collect and confirm that we do not sell or share personal information — we do neither. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email legal@clearancevault.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time applicable law allows.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Website may link to sites we do not operate. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not apply to them.
International visitors
We operate in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you use the Website from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
