Description

Amzdrive rear driveshaft assembly, OE numbers 15109400 and 15163798, interchange 65-9529. The shaft alone — no U-joint straps, bolts or paperwork were in the package. Unused. It came with the factory plastic shipping caps zip-tied over the rear U-joint bearing caps (removed for inspection and included loose), the slip-yoke splines are unmarked and the paint is unscuffed. Both universal joints turn freely and evenly with no play or clicking, and all four bearing cups are seated with the retaining clips in place. Fits 1999-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 with 4WD, automatic transmission and the 119.0 inch wheelbase (4.3L V6, 4.8L, 5.3L and 2004-2005 6.0L V8). Installed length 51.14 inches, 3.50 inch tube diameter. Does not fit the 143.5 inch wheelbase trucks, which take a 62 inch shaft. Front end is a slip yoke with internal splines that slides onto the transfer case output shaft; rear end is a U-joint with bearing caps for a strap-mount pinion yoke. Tube stamped 0322/0226/016.
