Description

Aftermarket rack-and-pinion boat steering cable, 13 feet, part number SSC13413. It is not a genuine SeaStar/Teleflex cable, and it comes with no retail box or paperwork. This is a rack cable, not a rotary one: the black steel tube mounts behind the helm and its toothed rack bar is driven by the helm's pinion gear, so it will not work with a rotary drum helm. Replaces SS14113 and SS15113, both printed on the part label. Listed fitment also covers SH5210P and SH5230P helms and the SB39526P and SB39544P bezel kits. Unused. The stainless output ram slides smoothly through its full travel with no pitting or rust, the end fittings' threads are clean, and the jacket has no cuts, kinks or flat spots. The rack tube's black end cap is a press fit and is shown off the tube in one of the photos.
