Description

Pair of front magnetic-ride (MagneRide) shock strut assemblies without springs, replacing OE part number 85640957. Two struts, each with its own bag of hardware: the top mounting nut, a washer, and the two-pin plug body for the coil wiring. Also replaces 84828331, 84828335, 22345419 and 20247041. Fits 2021-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra; the manufacturer also lists 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. The two coil wires at the rod end finish in loose crimped pins rather than a made-up plug. They push into the plug body supplied in the hardware bag and a red lock slides across to hold them — no cutting or splicing. Unused: both struts are still in their factory shrink wrap with the rod protector sleeves on. The outer carton was opened, and we opened one hardware bag to photograph what is in it.
