Description

Farningone universal passenger-side dual brake pedal, the instructor brake used by driving schools and for right-hand-drive conversion. A second brake pedal mounts on the passenger floor and pulls the driver's brake pedal through a Bowden cable, so the passenger can brake the car. There is no drilling into the car: the driver-side crossbar clamps to the seat guide rails with butterfly screws and the whole assembly lifts out again. Universal fit for sedans and other common cars. The footplate and crossbar adjust forward, back, left and right, and a red safety pin locks the passenger pedal out when it is not in use. The brake cable measures 8 ft 11 in (107 in) tip to tip. Complete kit: passenger brake unit with safety pin, driver-side crossbar with nylon cable pulley and toothed brake clip, slotted footplate, two slotted mounting bars, two seat-rail clamp brackets with butterfly screws, brake cable, and the illustrated instruction booklet. The two printed sources disagree on the model number: the carton label reads ACAR-B1 and the instruction booklet inside reads MODEL: ACAR-B6-2. Nothing is marked on the parts themselves. Unused. It came in a plain shipping carton rather than retail packaging.
