Description

Four Seasons 57089 remanufactured A6-style air conditioning compressor with the clutch fitted. The carton is labelled "Compressor Remanufactured" and the housing carries the remanufacturer's traceability sticker. Part number 57089, UPC 096361570894. Cast-aluminum axial-piston A6 body with a belt-driven clutch pulley on the nose, sold as a complete compressor-and-clutch assembly. The two service ports on the rear head are still closed by their rubber shipping plugs, so the compressor has stayed sealed since it was remanufactured. The clutch field coil is complete and connects through a pair of flat spade terminals on the coil body, both intact; there is no wiring pigtail on this style of coil and none is included. The pulley V-grooves carry orange surface rust. The grooves and the flat clutch face are unbroken, with no chips or cracks. The clutch pulley turns smoothly by hand, and the front shaft seal area is dry with no oil residue. Compressor and clutch only: no o-rings, hose manifold, mounting hardware or paperwork are included. Shipped weight is about 37 lb. Sold as-is.
