Description

Telescopic water sampler: a stainless steel pole, a 1000 ml graduated plastic beaker, a stainless U-bracket and the mounting hardware. Supplied unassembled. The beaker bolts into the U-bracket so it swings, and the bracket screws into the threaded socket in the end of the pole; the two bolts and two nuts are in their sealed bag. Measured with a tape: 3 ft 7 in collapsed and 9 ft 4 in with the pole fully extended, measuring the bare pole without the beaker and bracket fitted. A twist-collar locks each joint. Every one holds when the extended section is tugged, and the sections slide back in freely. The pole is straight and bright with no dents and no rust speckles, and the beaker has no cracks or crazing, including around the two holes it pivots on. The volume scale is moulded into the beaker wall rather than printed, and reads clearly. For water quality sampling from a bank, a walkway or the rim of a tank.
