Description

YIDEZU engine rebuild parts for the Hyundai/Kia G4KD 2.0L (Theta II) engine. What is in the box: one crankshaft, three connecting rods with their caps and bolts, a full set of engine bearings (10 shells for the five main journals, 8 for the rod journals) with 2 thrust washers, and one sealed pack of piston rings covering all four cylinders. Two things from the complete kit are not here. There are no pistons, and there are three connecting rods where the kit is sold with four. Priced accordingly. The bearings and the rings are complete sets for a four-cylinder engine. Everything present is new and unused. The crank journals are bright and unmarked with no scoring or rust, every bearing shell is still in its own plastic wrapper, and the ring pack is still sealed in its bag. Part numbers as printed on the parts and boxes: crankshaft 23111-2G010, connecting rod 23510-25030, piston ring set 23040-2G400 for an 86 mm bore, and bearing boxes 23060-2G020 STD, 21020-2G020 STD and 21020-25150 STD. The crankshaft is cast and stamped DX2, QL and the Theta symbol followed by 20, with journal grade rows 22222 and 11111. Check your engine code before buying. This fits the 2.0L G4KD, which is used in the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage and Kia Forte. It does not fit the 2.4L engine.
