Sold one pad short: three ceramic brake pads are included, not the four a full front axle set needs, so plan on buying a replacement pad set. No caliper grease, clips, shims or hardware bag came with the kit, and there is no paperwork. A-Premium front brake kit BRPR16887 - rotors BRR34168, pads BPD687A0. All three numbers were read off the parts and their packaging, not off a listing. Two 288mm (11.3 inch) vented cast front rotors on a five-stud hub, with MIN THK 22MM cast into the rim. That is the front brake fitted to the Mk4-era Volkswagen Jetta, Golf and New Beetle. Which years and trims got this size varies, so measure the rotor you are replacing - 288mm across the face, vented, five studs - before you order. Three A-Premium ceramic pads: two carrying the metal retaining spring and one plain slotted pad, all unused and at full thickness. One wear-sensor lead with its connector is included. The rotors are unused - the faces are evenly machined with no scoring, rust pitting or wear lip, and there is no pad contact band, so they have never been mounted. Both original A-Premium boxes are included. Both have been opened and the rotor box is crushed at the corners.
