Description

No wheel studs are included - the flange has five open stud holes, ready for your own studs. Sold as a bare shaft, with no hardware, no paperwork and no retail box. Motive Gear 14042690 rear axle shaft for the GM 8.5 inch 10-bolt rear end, right-hand side. Forged from 1541 manganese steel and heat treated, with 28 splines, a 5 x 5 inch lug pattern and a C-clip retainer groove. It measures about 34 inches end to end, from the flat face of the flange to the tip of the splines - our own tape measurement, not a catalogue figure. The flange is stamped 14042690 with a 05-22 date code. Unused: the splines are sharp, the bearing and seal band is unscored, no stud was ever pressed into the flange, and the shaft rolls true on a flat surface. This is a bare replacement shaft rather than a vehicle-specific kit, so please check spline count, overall length and lug pattern against the shaft you are replacing before you order.
