Description

A-Premium rear left electric power liftgate strut for the 2014-2016 BMW X5 (F15) and 2015-2016 X5 M (F85), driver's side. Open box: the wiring plug housing has a couple of small nicks on its rim, and the retail box is scuffed and dented. Fits vehicles built up to 08/2016. It does not fit 2017-2018 X5s, which use a different drive (OE 51247434041), even though the tag on the cable is printed 2014-2018. This is a powered spindle drive with its own motor and wiring plug, not a plain gas strut - it screws itself in and out to open and close the tailgate. It only fits vehicles with the power tailgate option. Numbers laser-etched into the tube: PHLS94469 and PHLS062014-N. The box is labelled PHLS94469-C. A-Premium's own catalogue number is 0APPHLS051. Replaces OE 51247294469, and is also cross-referenced as PM9922L. It turns smoothly when twisted and springs back when let go, as a spindle drive should. Both ball-socket ends are whole, and the metal retaining clip on one of them sits flat. All six pins in the plug are present and straight. The plug arrived with tape wrapped over it, which we removed, and a little adhesive residue is left on the outside of the plug body.
